Our financial industry client has let us know they foresee a need for Sr. ETL Developers to join their team, permanently. Reporting into the Director, Business Intelligence and joining the Business Intelligence Team, the Sr. ETL Developer will delivers the business intelligence solutions to make our client into an industry leader. This includes BI strategy, data warehousing, enterprise reporting and data governance programs.

The ETL process is fundamental to the data warehouse. This role will be instrumental in delivering data warehousing, which includes designing the data model, designing & delivering the ETL (development, testing, tuning and maintenance), as well as a combination of project, support, BIT and strategic responsibilities. The ideal candidate shall exhibit discipline and leadership while adhering to best practice development standards.

Who is the client? They are one of our fast growing mortgage lenders in the GTA. The location is right in Downtown Toronto on King Street West. They will be offering a salary between $80,000 to $110,000 with a bonus dependent upon annual performance agreement. The compensation package will also include long-term incentive plans, industry competitive health & dental benefits, RRSP, vacation, paid leave days and more

Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies and applications
• 3+ years in Financial Services (mortgages, insurance, banking or lending)
• 10+ years developing and delivering ETL solutions for a Data Warehouse
• 7+ years developing in Microsoft SSIS
• 7+ years modelling Dimensional and Relational Data
• Reading and writing SQL
• Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2016
• Scripting (JavaScript, C#, Windows Batch)
• SQL Server management (Integration Services Catalogs, Security, Automation)
• Database tuning (Indexing strategies, partitioning, tracing & profiling)
