The following was a real conversation between my neighbor and I

Neighbor: Hey you got that electric car, how is it?

Me: it's a dream. The perfect car

N: I don't know. Like how long can it last

M: 400km etc etc charges fast yada yada

N: ya but like, what about the radio? Like when you turn the radio on doesn't it use up power?

M: Yes, but the radio barely used any power. The battery is large enough to power the car for 400km. An AA battery powers a radio for months

N: it's a good idea. Stupid gas prices.

M: it's great all year. Snow not a problem. Faster than your buddy's 360 off the line. It's the perfect car. And I wake up every morning with a "full tank"

N: ya. It's a good idea. But I don't know about stuff like using the radio. Once they figure that out, then maybe

We are doomed. The fumes from ICEs are melting people's brains, ensuring they can't think of anything better even if it's staring them in the face. This happened months ago and I'm still scratching my head
