While these changes are good, the fact that the CRTC has reaffirmed the legality of cell providers using bold-faced lies in their ads ("unlimited" plans with built-in caps and limits) clearly demonstrates that CRTC's
#1 concern is corporate profit. This lip service treatment of consumer protection is pathetic and obvious.
A lie is a lie, and when you use a lie to sell a product it's false advertising. Truth in advertising should not be optional.
