Peel Regional Police confirm to CityNews that they were called to the home of Edward Lake on Father’s Day to investigate “an altercation.”
Police say when the officers arrived, an altercation occurred between Lake and police which resulted in Lake being tasered. He was then charged with one count of assault and released into the custody of paramedics, who transported him to a hospital where he was assessed and later released.
