(я вообще продавала бы владельцам таких машин разные би-би-пы (как рингтоны в телефонах) и за большие деньги)

Electric cars now required to make vroom noises. US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a rule that all electric and hybrid cars will be required to make an audible noise when traveling at speeds under 19 mph.

So far there are no guidelines as to what this noise has to sound like, but manufacturers have until September 1st, 2019 to come up with a creative solution.

We’re guessing it’ll be something along the lines of a warning beep, fake engine noises, or maybe just a recording of someone making “vroom” sounds. And if that’s the case, happy to provide an audition tape.
