WP has issues. Nobody would argue with that. But WP is fresh, fluid and fun to use. The reason so called "emerging markets" are faster in adopting WP is because they are late and there is no dominance of a particular platform. Also the localized apps are equally distributed across platforms -- there is no iOS appstore dominance like in the States.
