Air Guns can’t fire any metal or alloy projectiles, only pellets (BBs). If you were to fire a metal projectile from an Airsoft Gun, it would be considered to be a real firearm. Also, if an Airsoft Gun is used to commit any kind of crime, no matter what its classification, it will be considered a real firearm.
