Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne is expected to announce the sale of beer at a handful of grocery stores in the province at a Toronto Loblaws store this morning, where staff have begun to stock shelves with six-packs of beer.


Loblaws is among the 13 retailers that were chosen in mid-November to sell beer in the province. At the time, the province said beer could go on sale at grocery stores by December

This echoed an earlier statement by Wynne, who said beer could be in 60 grocery stores by Christmas time.
