...multiple "Undocked" sessions and the setting: [Remote desktop size = "Current work area size"]. After installing go directly to File > Options > User Interface and set the user interface to "Classic UI" and uncheck the "Use modern style". Leaving this "modern" stuff active causes some kind of graphical issues in coherence/unity virtualization mode.

Last but not least: Parallels 10 "coherence" and VMWare Fusion 7 "unity" modes cause additional problems and incompatibility with retina displays. In this respect both softwares are not mature enough. I wouldn't recommend starting dealing with them. Simply use windowed or full screen mode. I will test coherence/unity vs. retina in next releases, or in next windows versions for the guests.
