Sr. Technical Business Analyst

Location: Waterloo

Top Skills:

Ability to take requirements and translate directly to developers
Strong Scrum /Agile methodology
Prior experience as a product owner is strongly desired
Ecommerce project experience would be considered a strong asset (or, failing that, retail domain exp.)
Prior consulting experience (through an SI or Consulting Org.) would be considered a strong asset

Working experience with Agile methodology, particularly Scrum;
Functional testing experience (with web services is a plus);
Experience working with offshore developers and testers;

Your accountabilities include:
• Business case definition
• Requirements gathering & documentation
• Process analysis & modeling
• Systems analysis & documentation (high level)
• Functional design and application storyboarding
• Quality Assurance (planning and execution)
• User Acceptance Testing (planning and execution)
• User Training & Support (planning and execution)

Requirements:

5 - 7 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst with strong experience managing project requirements;
3+ years of prior Consulting experience;
Experience with object oriented development methodologies (Use Case Diagrams, etc);
Applied knowledge of RDBMS design and modeling;
Strong client management skills; strong ability to interface with high ranking client executives and business stakeholders;
Must be fluent in both written and verbal English;
Fluency in both written and verbal French is an asset;
