Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Description:

This position is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting high quality, high performance, and high volume secure software, applications, API, and services as part of the core technology architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in requirement analysis, design, and formulation of architecture, implementation, system integration, testing, documentation and deployment of various software systems, applications, and services.
• Provides professional technical support in relation to systems, applications, and services of responsibility as well as support of other team members who are less experienced.
• Build high-performance and secure applications including building the backend API's and scaling the server farm for various clients apps for better performance.
• Produces tasks estimates, including expertise required, user interface required, total number of development hours required etc., as part of overall project estimates.
• Participates in dynamic priority setting sessions.
• Serves as a technical lead throughout the full development lifecycle, end-to-end, from scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
• Participates in code reviews and code analysis wrap-ups, as well as thorough testing of the code and functionality to ensure it matches product specification and requirements.
• Write well-structured, documented and manageable code.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
• Must have 5+ years of strong software development experience covering the following areas:
o Object Oriented Design, Analysis, and Architecture
o Microsoft .NET stack & C#
o Multi-Tier systems’ design, development & support
o Relational Database design, development & support
o Experience in service oriented architecture (REST/JSON(p))
o Experience with high volume, high availability systems
o Experience with minimum 2 design patterns

• Must have Strong SDLC knowledge and skills:
o Design documentation
o Code control within repository (e.g., SVN)
o Unit testing
o Automated builds

Additional Assets:

• Experience building mobile applications (iOS, Android, BB10)
• Previous work in an Agile environment
• Experience with cloud platforms (Amazon, Azure)
• Experience in caching systems (Varnish)
• Experience in Mobile Push Notifications
