умереть - а вдруг лет через 20 может быть придешь в себя. это не жизнь. этот богобоязненный грехобоязненный подход умиляет - давай будем держать годами кого то подключенным к аппаратам - это же так гуманно. Зато не убийство. это же фан какой пролежать долгое время как веджи, и родственникам тоже фан - вроде жив, а вроде нет.
поэтому кстати многие и пишут заранее отказ на подключение к аппаратам искусственного жизнеобеспечения в подобных случаях. гуманисты рулят - пытки продолжаются.

Nightmarish. I can't imagine exactly what it would be like to be aware but unable to interact at all with anyone, but the thought terrifies me. Sounds like being in a nightmare you know is a nightmare and wanting to wake up but being unable to.

You should ask him if he wants to die. He is trapped in his body day in day out. I'm sure he is shouting inside for freedom. Please consider finding a way to ask him if he still wants to live. 10 years of being consciously aware of everything and not being able to say or do something is worse than a person in jail. Have mercy on this guy please.

I can't imagine the hell that a person lives through being in that state and if they are aware, even worse..but then the miriacle of someone reaching out to communicate wiht you and then to find someone who believes you are actually there.... my goodness.
